Also wrote a profile of the Chief Justice of the New Mexico Supreme Court, and a historical glimpse into the life of a prominent Colorado businessman, published in The Colorado Lawyer. L is for Literacy — a report on successes with early literacy initiatives in six diverse rural and urban Colorado schools. The booklet describes early reading programs in six different elementary schools in Colorado that share the same goal—all children must be fluent readers and writers by the time they enter third grade.The client specified a "warm, fuzzy, and cute" booklet that would be a persuasive but easy read for legislators, school boards, officials, and the general public.
